报告人简介：

Misra教授1980年在Banaras获得学士学位，1984年在剑桥大学材料科学与冶金系获得博士学位。2009年为美国路易斯安那大学特聘教授，结构与功能材料研究中心主任。主要研究领域包括：高强度结构钢的开发、工程材料的变形和断裂机理研究、纳米功能材料的研发以及电子显微技术在材料科学研究方面的应用等。2007年获得查尔斯-哈切特奖、复合奖(英国材料协会颁发)等多项国际大奖。曾担任美国材料协会(ASM)成员,英国材料协会(UK)成员，ASM特邀报告人等重要职务。现为Materials Science and Engineering A 副主编，Materials Technology 主编，Materials Science and Technology编委，Materials Transactions编委。
